We’re pleased to share the technical report “Participatory Approaches to Identify and Test Gender-Responsive Seed Information Pathways”, a collaborative study by CGIAR’s Seed Equal Initiative, the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), and the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA).

Conducted in Telangana, this study examines how women and men farmers access and use seed information, and how participatory approaches can make seed systems more inclusive and equitable. It highlights the importance of combining digital and non-digital communication, incorporating farmer feedback, and designing gender-responsive, context-specific information pathways.
